The project includes the development of the visual identity for FAFA Fest 2023 and a visual installation with projection mapping that incorporates a cube-based structure. Two cubes of different sizes are employed to project diverse information. The smaller cubes are skillfully stacked to generate a three-dimensional space, producing visual effects like pillars and staggered cubes from different angles.
To construct the installation, a wooden framework is utilized, enabling convenient surface material replacement. After several experiments, diffusion paper and baking paper were chosen as the optimal materials. These selections not only achieve the desired projection effect but also create an atmosphere of semi-translucent lighting.
