XR Design - Metrolpolia UAS

XR Design - Metropolia UAS is a degree programme that focuses on XR content production skills. The programme was established in 2018, and since its birth it has been a collaboration between people from Metropolia UAS (formerly EVTEK) and Aalto Media Lab. In particular, the presentation will discuss our project course, where our students get hands-on experience working on XR design products commissioned by different clients from companies, museums and other educational institutions. Through the statistics of the projects, we reflect on different ways of using XR technology. This can indicate people’s current perceptions of XR technology, the current state of the technology and its future.
