Against All Skies is a party-based deckbuilder video game with roguelite storytelling. The setting is a fantasy world of treacherous sky islands where a crew of unlikely heroes navigate to the center of a mysterious storm.
The project started in May at Espoo Game Lab, and I am writing my thesis on the storytelling potential of the game’s UI. The team currently consists of nine people, and we have showed the game at events like Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2025 and the IGDA Demo Corner.
