Codename: Milkman began as a first-person 3D video game featuring live gameplay and live music in Media Lab winter demo day 2024. Maksim Vorontsov produced the original sound effects and storyline together with Markku Laskujärvi, with Igor Takac joining them on stage to play electric guitar.
Ever since, the project has developed further to feature concept art by Tran Bao Ngoc, packaging design by Yukiko Wada and further sound design by Lê Hoài Nghĩa. This group effort features a unique story and game design that incorporates only the mouse for user input.
The quirky story follows favorites from the first-person world as inspiration, such as Deus Ex (2000) and Half-Life (1998). We are eager to share the newest demo which closes the book on the Milkman project with a bang!
