Moni's Diary

Physical Computing Storytelling

My project centers around a robotic fish with a responsive tail, designed to express the ending of a story titled ‘Moni’s Diary.’ I wrote this narrative to explore themes of social anxiety and self-acceptance. The robotic fish is equipped with an LED light beside that remains off by default. However, when people pass by, the light activates, and the fish’s tail starts to move more vigorously. This interaction lasts for seconds, after which the light gradually dims, and the fish’s tail returns to its default mode. Surrounding the installation will be images depicting key scenes from my story, providing context for the entire narrative.
