Mushroom Chair (3D Printed Chair)

Designing a chair by using digital as a tool to explore the new perspective of daily supplies’ manufacturing methods. Expanding the alternative horizon for product transportation systems, specifically from physical to digital. Presenting the artistry and utility of digital in a more sustainable manner.

The chair is considered the primary furniture because it contains most of the important elements through the design process, including aesthetics, ergonomics, mechanical structure, materials, etc. In this case, 3D printing has been the most promising production method in recent years. However, this developing technology has not yet been accepted by the general public. This project explores the benefit of 3D printing and works with the technology and materials instead of challenging. Through working on a completely 3D printed chair to communicate and introduce to people about the next generation of production methods.
